#397) A New Wrinkle

I have some news that’s really buoyed my mood. I applied and was just accepted to work in the corporate office of my school district!

Teaching has gotten exponentially harder since Covid-19 hit. And it was challenging to begin with. This mean that I won’t be in a classroom, having to deal with jackhammer parents. I won’t have to put in lots of unpaid hours preparing my classroom and lesson plans. It means that I will no longer be under the thumb of a small-minded principal that I detest!

I still must be circumspect, but I’m overjoyed! Can’t wait for Bob to get home (not for a long while yet) to celebrate!
