My “voice” comes through in my writing, and that’s a good thing. I have a similarly loud voice in my head. Sometimes I’ve been known to give that inner voice spoken volume, and that’s not always such a good thing. It can get me in trouble. I relate heavily to the above cartoon. I have been called out of cornertime on more than one occasion for another dose of discipline because I have trouble keeping my thoughts to myself.
I have a well-upholstered, shapely bottom, commonly called a big butt. I recently gave voice to my objections about getting harder and longer punishments because my butt can take it, regardless of whether or not it is deserved. Taken to its logical extreme, the poor girl pictured at left must get barn-burning-butt-blisterings. She has such a pronounced hourglass figure, she could give you fifty-nine minutes change for your time! Please do not misinterpret this as body shaming in any way. Quite the opposite, I am impressed with nature’s ability for cantilevered architecture!
