Dinner is served, lick your lips, then dig in (and lick my lips, Robert)! It’s a holiday devoted to eating, so enjoy! Unbutton and unzip your pants, if you’re wearing any (you know that I’m not)! Give thanks for all the blessings in your life, whatever they may be (thank you, Robert, may I have another tasty spank?).
It’s a holiday centered around gratitude. I am thankful for so much! Right now, half the people in the Ukraine are without electricity and heat in their homes! There is so much wrong with our world right now, but there is also so much that is right.
I hope that you are able to share this holiday with those dear to you, family and friends! Among SO much else, I am thankful for this blog and each and every one of you! Happy Thanksgiving!
(I’m re-reading this post about two hours after I published it, and I think I was high on endorphins when I composed it. My excuse is that I don’t usually write with Robert present, but today he is! Anyway, I got that out of my system, for the moment, at least, and I won’t edit this post. It bespeaks the joy I was feeling.)
